A special twilight Lantern Parade will be taking place on the Sunday evening at Camp Bestival this year. Led by a five piece band, the parade will gather in Weston Woods, awakening the animals and mythical beasts that reside in this beautiful woodland. We will then be travelling across the festival site, arriving at the lake for some special one-off performances. Festival goers will have had the opportunity to create beautiful lanterns throughout the weekend, and can carry these as part of the parade, illuminating this magical walk. There will also be larger pre-made puppets and lanterns as part of the parade, bringing larger creatures of the woods along for the journey. At the lake, there will be performances from Ghost Caribou, a giant illuminated helium balloon with an aerialist, and a fantastic fire show to close the evening.
