Testament is an world record breaking human beatboxer, acclaimed rapper and composer. Testament’s innovative work includes the celebrated album Homecut: No Freedom Without Sacrifice, features on MOBO nominated albums, several performances for BBC Radio 1, 1xtra and 6Music as well as numerous television appearances.
Testament is also the writer and composer of the acclaimed hit play Black Men Walking (Best Play nominee Writer’s Guild Awards 2019 & Best New Play nominee UK Theatre Awards 2020). His radio play The Beatboxer was nominated for the Imison Award at the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2020. And his last radio play Daughter (BBC Radio 4) told a whole story using human beatbox performed by Testament & UK Beatbox Champ Grace Savage. The show Orpheus In The Record Shop (Opera North/Leeds Playhouse) was broadcast on BBC Four and returns to Leeds Playhouse in October 2022.
