Writer and performance poet Imogen Stirling (BBC, Sky Arts, Neu! Reekie!) hosts a welcoming, sociable and inclusive workshop centred around spoken word poetry and creative writing. Through writing exercises and discussion, Imogen will show how spoken word poetry can be a tool to boost self-esteem, empowering you to find your voice and express it with confidence to talk about the things important to you. She will demonstrate the benefit of creative writing to aid mental wellbeing and mindfulness, all within a relaxed environment. All ages and experience levels are very welcome.
