My name is Joe Whale but I am also known as The Doodle Boy. Art and especially Doodling are my favourite things to do as it is a great way to relax, create and free my mind of all of the characters that are floating around in my head!! I love just having a plain piece of paper (or actually anything) that I can use to let my imagination run wild and fill the page with all of my wacky characters.
We have a saying in our house ‘There is no right or wrong in art, just perception’ and I live by this every day - I don’t create anything to impress anyone I just doodle what I like and see how it looks in the end - it’s so cool to be free to create. And remember ‘Everyone is Different’ so embrace being you and do what you love!!
