From winning the Wray and Nephew cup clash in both 2015 and 2016 Daddy Nature thrives on providing the best in reggae, dub, dancehall and jungle. Complete with a box full of dubplates Daddy Nature brought his first pair of decks in 1998 and is an avid collector of vinyl having a collection of over 8,000 funk, soul, hip-hop, reggae, dub, dubstep and drum and bass records to his name.
He’s also collaborated on tunes with Aries, Chris Lorenzo and Ed West and Dandelion from The Drop, his first release was on Born On Road and was called: “Morgan’s Rain” a collaboration project with Ed West whith remixes from Bladerunner and plays on BBC Radio 1 from David Rodigan. Daddy Nature previously supported Lee Scratch Perry, Congo Natty, Aswad, Dub Pistols, David Rodigan, Mala, General Levy, Team Gorillaz, The Heatwave, Gappy Ranks, Roni Size, Goldie and many more. Daddy Nature currently has a bi-weekly radio show on Kool FM on Wednsday’s 3pm-5pm with the ‘Natural Selection Show” promoting music with a message, not forgetting his catchphrase: “Music is a mission, not a competition”.
