Self Esteem

One of the highlights of last year’s Camp Bestival in Dorset, Rebecca Lucy Taylor AKA Self Esteem was top of our list when we started to put together the line up for our first Shropshire spectacular.

After more than a decade as one half of indie popsters Slow Club and thoroughly disillusioned with the music industry Rebecca took stock and reinvented herself as Self Esteem, become ing one of the most exciting artists to breakthrough in years in the process.

Her debut album ‘Compliments Please’ raised eyebrows with its edgy pop riffs and uninhibited, honest lyrics but it was with her second album ‘Prioritise Pleasure’ that Rebecca become a bone fide pop queen.  The album was top of everyone’s albums of 2021, big, brash, genuinely funny and taking on themes that dare you to blink, Rebecca backed up the album with a sold out tour with a show that deserves to be seen of the biggest of stages.
