Taking your kids to a festival can seem daunting, so let us put your mind at ease...

Camp Bestival was designed by families for families

Created by an experienced and award winning events team specifically to put families at the centre of the Great British festival experience, making sure that there is a huge range of family fun and kids’ activities on offer for all ages, from babes in arms to teens, from early morning right up until bedtime is what we do. And we’ve got everything you’d want from a modern music festival, too – so expect great bands, fantastic food & drink, and lots and lots of fun!

Baby Facilities, Quiet Spaces & Sensory Areas

Because we’ve made families and kids the starting point for the Camp Bestival experience, we’ve thought about the practicalities and strive to cater to the needs of all kinds of family life, introducing the kind of creature comforts that we think make a difference to everyone. We have excellent facilities for mums with young babies including changing, feeding and chillout areas. We have dedicated sensory areas and quiet spaces for anyone who needs a bit of time out from all the fun, and we have lots of calming activities and peaceful pursuits in green and natural areas, such as the Weston Woods, away from large crowds.

Clean Toilets & Lots of Bins

There are plenty of toilets in all the campsites and main arenas, including a number of environmentally friendly composting toilets (in adult and kid sizes!), and Mobiloos in the main arena and Accessibility Camping, that are cleaned and maintained regularly. There are also lots of recycling points and bins throughout the festival that are emptied regularly, and we have a litter team dedicated to keeping the site tidy all weekend long.

Accommodation

Access to Camp Bestival’s main campsites is included in your ticket price. They offer spacious camping grounds to pitch large family tents (with all your extras), with toilet blocks, gas powered hot shower cubicles and food and drink vendors close by and are relatively short walk from the main car parks. If you’re arriving late or you’d simply like to guarantee your family a camping pitch you can add a Camping Plus ticket to your booking.  You can also book camping upgrades in Backstage Camping. For those who are less inclined to pitch a tent, there is an array of family accommodation options on offer to you at additional cost, such as pre-pitched tents, yurts and tipis in the Boutique and Backstage Camping areas, both of which have dedicated car parks to make life a little easier. We also have live-in vehicle pitches available to purchase, and there are a number of B&B, guest houses and hotels in the vicinity of the festival.

Food & Drink

Feeding a family for a weekend is no mean feat, so you can bring all the food (and drink!) that your family needs for the festival with you to bring into the main arenas or to cook right outside your tents with BBQs or camping stoves. If you’re looking for a break from kitchen duties, we’ve got you covered too, with glorious food concessions situated in every area of the festival. Ranging from simple favourites like pizzas and chips to some truly adventurous gastronomic goodies you’ll find something to suit all ages, tastes and dietary needs. Don’t forget to check out the Camp Kids Extra Pass, too.

Safety

There are Kids Help & Welfare points throughout the Camp Bestival site, and children (and their family members) are issued with wristbands on which your contact details are written. This will help us to reunite you as swiftly as possible in the unlikely event you are separated from your child.
