Big Build Woodland Tribe
Children and families are invited to come and build their own adventure playground with the award winning Woodland Tribe, the masters of constructive play. Based on the ideas of bauspielplatz (build-playground) in Germany, families can co-construct a giant play structure of their dreams using hammers, saws, nails and a huge quantity of wood. Over the course of the festival and with the support of the skilled Woodland Tribe team, children will be given the freedom to design and build a one off, unique, epic play structure.
Key Information
-Open access activity, open from Friday-Sunday from 10-5pm (10am-11am sessions are specifically for families with Access wristbands). No booking required.
-Families will be given a safety briefing on arrival and then given tools and access to wood so they can start building.
-Families can add to the evolving structure or build something of their own, or they can simply have fun playing on the play structure.
-Skilled and experienced Woodland Tribe crew will be on site to support families with building.
– All children must be accompanied by an adult.
-Additional support available for families with accessibility needs.
-Activity is recommended for children aged 4+
